The new Irradiation Test Area has met a milestone: On Jan. 11, it began transporting a high-intensity proton beam to the very first set of user experiments. The ITA will play a critical role in High-Luminosity LHC projects and others to come. The beginning of operations ushers in a new era of instrumentation development in high-energy physics.

The men’s and women’s restrooms in Wilson Hall, fourth and fifth floors, northeast side, will be closed from Dec. 4-30 to conduct extensive plumbing repairs.
Wilson Hall and Ramsey Auditorium will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 12, due to buildingwide utility outages related to the 13th floor project. Wilson Hall will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on that day.
