Employees subscribed to Fermilab Today may notice a change in their email greeting this week. To make the daily newsletter more inclusive, the email system now uses the preferred name supplied in FermiWorks rather than the subscriber’s legal name. FermiWorks self-evaluation demonstrations: Tuesdays in June from 11-11:45 a.m. (June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30). HR partners and the FermiWorks HR team will host demos to prepare individuals for the self evaluation portion of the performance review. Goal Setting in FermiWorks: HR Partners and the FermiWorks HR team is adding more demos to prepare individuals for the upcoming performance review season. A brief overview of SMART goal setting will be followed by a demo on how to best manage your goals in FermiWorks. FY20 goal setting discussions with employees and managers should be in process or complete. On Monday 10/28, all eligible employees will receive a FermiWorks inbox item to document the goals set during those discussions. Starting this week and through November, Fermilab employees will be required to complete several tasks in FermiWorks (the first two items are DOE requirements): Sign and upload an Intellectual Property Agreement by August 30. In the next few weeks, you will receive several inquiries and a link via FermiWorks to complete information regarding outside employment.
