The photographer recently relocated Chicagoland to South Dakota for work on LBNF. Traffic jams there are a little different than they are in Illinois!
This photo was captured along Wilson Road heading into the lab at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 2. The deer all had their heads down and were eating. But when the photographer stopped, the deer all looked up at the same time and stared at him while he zoomed and snapped the photo.
