Bask in the sounds of sunny Spain as the DuPage Symphony takes you to the Iberian peninsula through the music of Spanish, French, and Russian composers of the 19th century. Excerpts from Bizet’s opera Carmen and Massenet’s opera Le Cid, plus short works by Albeniz, Falla, Fauré, and Granados, complement the richly colorful Capriccio Espagnol of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Music Director Barbara Schubert conducts the acclaimed DuPage Symphony Orchestra in this lively summer program.  Bring a picnic, bring your friends, and enjoy a “virtual visit” to sunny Spain! Seating is on the lawn…
