Sometimes Fermilab receives calls from students asking what it’s like to be a physicist. Fermilab scientists give their answers in a new series of videos. Check them out.

Every June, students descend on Fermilab, injecting a matchless vitality at the laboratory. Computing expects a dozen or so students this summer, and the lab expects close to 100 total. It is not too early to plan the students’ participation and make sure we can challenge them and give them a rewarding experience.

Many physics degree programs excel at preparing students for an academic career, but more than half of those who complete the programs head to industry instead.
