The following changes are being made to the Laboratory’s travel approval process. Effective Wednesday, March 9, the laboratory Director has authorized the processing of travel requests for domestic (in-person and virtual) and local travel per the Travel Office’s pre-pandemic policy and procedures. Specifically, division/section approvals may be obtained via the Travel System prior to the start date of the trip. The Fermilab Travel Office will be closed from Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 through Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. You may contact Omega Travel after hours desk at 800-285-6342 if you need to modify your existing DOE approved travel bookings. When calling Omega Travel after-hours desk, please reference the Fermilab code ID-S-1OGF-FNAL and an Omega Travel representative will assist you. All new travel bookings can begin from Jan. 4, 2022, when the Travel Office opens and can ensure DOE approval.
