A strong tradition at Fermilab, the annual Users Meeting is a welcome opportunity for the user community to gather together to celebrate the scientific and technological achievements produced at the lab during the previous year and to look toward those to come.
The 55th Annual Fermilab Users Meeting will take place from June 13-17, 2022. The meeting will be hybrid this year with limited onsite participation. We request participants register here: https://indico.fnal.gov/event/53944/ and indicate whether they plan to attend in person and which dates, if any, they will be on site. There are a limited number of spaces available for in-person attendance so please indicate that you will be on site only if you have plans to travel to the lab for the meeting….
The registration deadline for the 54th Annual Users Meeting has been extended to Monday, July 26. If you have not yet done so, please register for the meeting via indico: https://indico.fnal.gov/e/UAM2021. Professor Marcelle Soares-Santos from the University of Michigan will be the keynote speaker at this year’s 54th Users Meeting. Marcelle’s research focuses on uncovering the nature of the accelerated expansion of the cosmos. Marcelle was previously an associate scientist and postdoctoral research associate at Fermilab. Before her current position, she was also the Landsman Career Development chair and assistant professor of physics, Brandeis University, where she continued to collaborate with Fermilab scientists on the construction of the Dark Energy Camera,…

This year’s Users Meeting will feature a brand-new format. We aim to host an online meeting that, as much as possible, everyone at Fermilab will feel fully included in and actively enjoy and to provide a space for us all to gather, listen, learn, speak, grow, challenge, and be inspired.
Hundreds gathered for the 52nd Fermilab Users Meeting on June 12 and 13. The events reflected this year’s theme, “Your community, your science: It’s about everyone that makes it happen.”

The June 4 registration deadline for the Users Meeting is fast approaching. Registration is quick, and all events are free. Celebrate the Main Injector’s 20th anniversary, and come to the party for the end of MINERvA’s data-taking run.
