Tuesday, May 7th, is the DOE Mile Race for Walkers & Runners starting at 11:30am at A-1 on Main Ring. All other Health & Fitness Day participants (walkers, runners, bikers, etc.) are welcome to come from 11:45am-1:30pm. T-shirts and snacks for the first 300 participants. The DOE Mile is back, and Health and Fitness Day is here, too. Walk, run, bike or inline skate around the Main Ring. The DOE Mile race starts at 11:30 on Tuesday, and medals will be awarded to the top finishers. Fermilab is also competing for the greatest participation among 14 DOE laboratories. If you don’t want to race, plan to come to Health and Fitness Day, which immediately follows the start of the race.
This is an introduction to retirement saving options at Fermilab. This session is open to anyone currently eligible for the 403(b) or 401(a) plans. The Outdoor Soccer League is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm till dark at the Village Soccer Field beginning April 30th. All levels are welcome. Interested in playing Disc Golf? Every Wednesday at 5:30 pm from May to October, the Fermilab Disc Golf League will meet at Wheeler Park in Geneva. No course fee and no league fee required.
