SMSPD schematic
A schematic diagram (top) and a photo (bottom) of the experimental setup of the superconducting microwire single-photon detector under study at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility with references to the instruments along the particle beamline. A silicon tracking telescope tracks the position of each particle incident. The SMSPD is placed between the telescope’s six strip modules on one side and four pixels plus an additional six strip modules on the other, where the modules are placed as close to the cryostat as possible.
