Please note that FESS is initiating a project to replace all light bulbs with LED bulbs in Wilson Hall starting Feb. 19 with the 15th floor public areas. Once those areas are complete, electricians will work with security to access and change bulbs in individual office areas during evening hours. There will be two brief elevator service interruptions for cars 1 and 2 tomorrow morning Friday, January 31. These service interruptions are required to complete the installation of additional control devices. Car #1 (southwest car) will be out of service between 7 and 9 a.m. Car #2 (northwest car) will be out of service between 9 and 11 a.m.
Wilson Hall elevators 3 (northeast) and 4 (southeast) will be out of service from 9:25-9:35 a.m. and again from 9:45-10 a.m. for today’s VIP visit.
There will be intermittent one hour elevator service interruptions for cars 1-4 throughout the day today Friday 9/20 for on-going preventative maintenance work. The outages will only affect one elevator at a time.
Both men’s and women’s locker rooms will be closed from noon until 6 p.m. Please plan accordingly and remove the contents of lockers prior to noon today.
Wilson Hall Elevators 1 through 4 will undergo minor upgrades encompassing roller guide assembly replacement. Scheduled installation will begin today (Friday Aug 2nd) and will continue each Friday until project completion. This will require one elevator to be out service each Friday for 3-4 hours. Please plan accordingly.
The Wilson Hall Southwest Stairwell Ground Floor Entry will be temporarily closed from Thursday, June 27, through Sunday, June 30, to accommodate concrete flooring repair. The west Ramsey Auditorium lobby entrance will serve as the alternative entry during this time frame.
The Wilson Hall ground floor men’s and women’s locker rooms remain closed due to ongoing plumbing repair work. We apologize for the inconvenience. Alternate shower facilities can be used at the Village Gym or IARC/OTE. Questions can be directed to whl_bmanager@fnal.gov or jwkent@fnal.gov.
