Effective 5/1/2020, MetLife will be the business travel insurance carrier for Fermi Research Alliance, LLC. There is no change to the design of the plan. A feature of MetLife is AXA Assistance USA, which provides for assistance with travel emergencies. The IRS has announced that the annual contribution limit for employees participating in 403(b) and 457 plans is increasing to $19,000 for 2019. The catch-contribution limit for employees aged 50 and over remains unchanged at $6,000 for these plans. If you would like to make a change to your contribution, visit Fidelity NetBenefits.

As a reminder, Open Enrollment will take place from November 1 – November 16, 2018. The Benefits Office is pleased to announce that the Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and PPO Premium plans will include telehealth through MDLIVE beginning January 1, 2019. Virtual visits via MDLIVE will have a co-pay of $15.00 instead of a $30.00 co-pay for a traditional office visit.
