Visitors interested in taking a look behind the scenes are welcome to join Fermilab docent Nancy Lanning for a guided tour of the laboratory this summer. The two-hour tour includes a look at some of Fermilab’s accelerators as well as the Main Control Room from which scientists steer more than 40,000 devices to guide particles through the accelerator tunnels. The tour also stops at the Midwest Institute for Neutron Therapy, a cancer treatment center located at Fermilab.
