Fermilab enters a new era of facility management this week as the Centralized Facility Management program officially kicks off. Centralized Facility Management (CFM) brings the management of all* conventional facilities under one (virtual) roof.

Beginning Monday, April 26 through November 30, the Wilson Hall atrium-level restrooms will be closed to make way for the new Integrated Engineering Research Center crossover. There will be signage directing people to the three restrooms on the ground floor and the two restrooms on the second floor. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we build the lab’s future.

An accountability drill will be held on April 8 beginning at 10 a.m. If you are a Fermilab employee and are working on April 8, you are required to respond when you receive the Everbridge message. Please respond “Onsite” only if you are physically on the Batavia site. If you are teleworking or working somewhere other than on the Batavia site, please respond with “Offsite.” Please note that this is only a drill.

On March 17, all Fermilab employees were invited by Tim Meyer, Head of Technology Engagements, via an all-hands message to contribute to a benchmarking study on innovation and entrepreneurship entitled: Entrepreneurial Thinking: Historical and Observational Study (ETHOS). This is a reminder that all Fermilab employees are invited to contribute to this research project by taking a 10-15 minute survey to analyze the innovation and entrepreneurial culture of Fermilab.
