Fermilab softball is coming back to the Village for employees and users. The plan is to have one pick-up game per week on a rotating night. We will start with Thursday nights at 5:30 p.m. and add nights if player availability increases. Walk2Run and Walk2Walk begins remotely the week of March 15. Take this opportunity to get out and get some exercise. Walkers, runners, and want-to-be-runners are welcome to participate. Let’s stay fit and healthy while working remotely. Attend a free Muscle Toning class on Zoom, Tuesday, March 16th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This class meets for a fun and effective workout, designed for all fitness levels. It can build endurance and strong muscles, speed up metabolism and improve balance and flexibility. This enables better performance in most sports, and most importantly, everyday activities. The next session of Pilates will be held via Zoom on Mondays, March 8 – April 26, 11:45am – 12:30pm. This class is suitable for beginner & intermediate level participants. Pilates is an excellent way to reduce back pain, strengthen your core, and increase flexibility with low impact floor exercises that target the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine. Last week was the inaugural Snowman Building Competition. Twenty snowmen and other snow creations engaged in a fierce competition in the following categories: most creative, favorite, best photo with snowman, best traditional snowman and best nontraditional snowman.
