On Nov. 15 at 8 p.m., five of Fermilab’s best and brightest will duke it out in the Fermilab Arts and Lecture Series Physics Slam 2013. The event is similar to a poetry slam – each of the five physicists will get 1 0 minutes to explain a complex scientific concept to the audience in the most clear and entertaining way possible.

In celebration of the World Year of Physics, Fermilab presents a special evening to honor Albert Einstein’s scientific achievements and his love of violin music. On Saturday, April 30, at 8 p.m., British violinist Jack Liebeck will appear in concert with pianist Inon Barnatan, featuring sonatas by Mozart, Brahms and Prokofiev, as well as Bloch’s Nigun.
This Saturday, October 9, at 8 p.m., Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory celebrates 30 years of hosting arts performances for the public.
