Starting today, Jacqueline Bucher will lead the communications effort at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as the new head of the office. She comes to the lab with over 25 years of experience in leading corporate communications, marketing and strategy for top global multinationals.
Recently Bucher was vice president and head of communications at Roche Molecular Solutions, where she led planning and execution of strategic marketing, media relations and communication initiatives.
Prior to that, she was at Intel Corporation, where she developed and led the first global internal business communications and multimedia organization that supported more than 40,000 employees in 50 countries.
Bucher earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA and master’s degree in information systems from Arizona State University.
