Santa Barbara resident Mark Hirsch was named the 2021 artist for the Fermilab artist-in-residence program. In his upcoming work, he will reimagine and translate the scientific data and discoveries into digital and physical forms that communicate the complexities that are inherent to the work occurring at Fermilab.
